Amendment filed April 15, 2024: This amendment modifies the continuing education period from the calendar year (Jan. 1-Dec. 31) to the licensing year (March 1-Feb. 28). This amendment also clarifies that all fees are non-refundable and that applications shall expire after one year of receipt. Public comments shall be received through June 30th. 201 KAR 2:030, License transfer and non-resident pharmacist license. Amendment filed April 15, 2024: This amendment creates a new type of pharmacist license for non-resident pharmacists. This is a limited license with a $50 application fee and renewal fee. The non-resident pharmacist license is exempt from CE and the MPJE. Public comments shall be received through June 30th. 201 KAR 2:465, Non-Resident Pharmacy Applications and Waivers. New Administrative Regulation filed April 15, 2024: This regulation details the application process for non-resident pharmacies and clarifies language in KRS 315.0351, including the waiver for “isolated transactions" language. This regulation does require licensure of any pharmacist engaging in the practice of pharmacy for a Kentucky resident. Public comments shall be received through June 30th.
